The median rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in Minneapolis is $964. A two-bedroom is $1246. The median rent nationally for a 1 bedroom is $1153, and $1321 for a two-bedroom.
In other words, the median rent in Minneapolis is 20.4% below the national median. To put it in perspective, Lubbock, TX has a median rent of $1074. And Lincoln, NE $1059.
Of the top 100 expensive large cities in the United States, Minneapolis ranks #89.
